1. Who We Are
Orping.io is operated by Orping LLC. Orping provides ESS health monitoring for Oracle Fusion: a dashboard for job health, Slack-based notifications, an intelligence layer that surfaces prior fixes, and plain-English translation of Oracle errors.

2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — name and email when you sign up or join a waitlist.
- Slack tokens & workspace data — OAuth / bot tokens, workspace ID, channel IDs, and user IDs needed to post ESS alerts and handle mark-resolved actions. Tokens are encrypted and used solely to operate the Slack app.
- Oracle / Fusion credentials — Fusion hostname and integration-user credentials. Stored encrypted and used only for read-only REST polling of ESS job status and error details.
- Monitoring & usage data — watched jobs, alert history, resolution notes, routing config, and product analytics within your account.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To run ESS health monitoring, Slack notifications, the intelligence layer, and plain-English error translation.
- To send transactional email (alerts, account notices, onboarding).
- To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
4. Slack Tokens
When you install Orping from Slack, Slack grants OAuth tokens that we store encrypted. Those tokens allow Orping to post messages, open threads, and respond to button actions in channels you configure. We do not read unrelated channel history. When you uninstall the app or disconnect Slack, tokens are revoked and deleted.
5. Oracle / Fusion Credentials
Fusion credentials are encrypted at rest and used exclusively for read-only REST API calls to poll ESS scheduled-process status. We do not access or store business data from your Oracle environment beyond the job status and error details needed for monitoring and alerts.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain account and operational data while your account is active. After account deletion or a deletion request to hello@orping.io, data is permanently removed within 30 days. Slack tokens and Oracle credentials are deleted immediately on disconnect, uninstall, or account closure.
You do not need an Orping account to request deletion related to a Slack install — email us from a workspace admin address and include the Slack workspace name.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data at any time by emailing hello@orping.io. We respond within 30 days.
9. GDPR (EU Users)
If you are in the European Union, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for). Contact hello@orping.io to exercise rights.
10. Security & Hosting
All traffic uses HTTPS. Slack tokens and Fusion credentials are encrypted at rest. Production access is limited. The service is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure (currently Railway / equivalent commercial cloud hosting) with industry-standard controls.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.
